How do I get a library card?

To register for a library card, you need to complete an application form and provide identification that includes your current mailing address. For borrowers under age 17, a parent or guardian’s signature is required. Parents or guardians who have co-signed for their child’s card may obtain information regarding their child’s library card account. Juvenile cardholders may use all library materials and services, including filtered Internet access. To assist families with providing Internet supervision, parents have the option of blocking their child’s library card from using Internet Computer Catalogs.

Does it cost a fee to get a library card? Your first library card is free. If you live outside the County , there may be a slight charge to get a library card.
